Walking Tall

I just spent a couple glorious days in LA.  But, I went with a mission.  And, that mission was to spend my Christmas Neiman Marcus gift certificate on a pair of Stella McCartney Elyse Platform Oxfords. My new most favorite girl crush @trinnywoodall wears them ALL the time with a black pair of Piazza Sempione black pants (of which I own a pair).  That's the base of all her winter outfits, she then styles her outfit of the day with a blouse blazer, jacket, etc. to the nines with everything Zara.  Check out her Insta - she is an absolute hoot and has great styling and beauty tips.



These Stella's were like a beacon in the night and I was making my way to that light...

Until I got to Neiman's and found out they were out of stock.  Wah wah.  I did not despair and made my way to Zara,com where I found a similar pair for $29.99. Whoo Hoo!   I gotta be honest, I love the look but sorry to say they are sold out now.

Nor did I was that gift certificate go to waste and managed to style the look above with a new white silk Frame blouse.  But the pièce de résistance is my new Les Petit Joueurs bag.  OMG this brand is pure unadultrated fun.  Really adds a kick to any outfit.


Here are a pair of White Mountain  platform sneakers that do the trick but at a fraction of the price! I love 'em.
