Imitation is the greatest form of flattery - right? I find my outfit inspiration from many sources and, surprisingly, it isn't often on Instagram. I pursue some of my favorite blog sites such as LeCatch.com or online shops (Zara, Neiman Marcus, Matches Fashion) for fashion inspo, as well.
Often something catches my eye and I'm off on a quest to find a similar treasure. Such as my OOTD. It was inspired from the high-waisted pants and skirts I have seen in the collective consciousness of fashion pics of late. I recently came across this outfit on Matchesfashion.com and shuffled it to the back of my mind as something I liked.
So when found this outfit at H&M on-line, I screamed EUREKA and purchased it immediately. Similar as the Matchesfashion.com outfit for a fraction of the cost. Details of the blouse are stunning and skirt is a fun alternative to trousers.
Stylingwise tip: High-waisted trousers can be unflattering adding bulk especially if they are heavily pleated. Make sure they are fitted through the waist or try a high-waisted skirt.
As you are probably know, the on-trend, low priced items do not last long in stores. Find it the look below while it lasts and the high end inspired outfit (if you are so inclined)!
