I am a big movie nut. I'd pick a indie movie any day over a major movie release. Personally, my favorite films are French films. It gives me a chance to practice my French while enjoying a little bit of French culture. Give me The Umbrellas of Cherbourg over Casablanca any day!
Not too long ago, I posted a Quick Fashion tip of this fabulous Alice & Olivia top. It's darling with the deep V in front and in back. I wore it that day with jeans. But, today I'm kicking it up a notch for the Easter Holiday weekend. Same top, different day. If your going to have such a fabulous top don't wear in once and take it out of rotation.
But, that's not the end of the story! Wide-leg pants dominated the Spring 2018 runways, and Alice + Olivia's 'Johanna' pants are one of my favorites and finish it off with a pair of white booties - Voila!
And, my Staud Clothing bucket is back making a repeat appearance. Cost per wear is def going down daily.
My favorite theater to watch an indie move is FilmStreams Dundee Theater. It's a non-profit theater dedicated to to enhancing the cultural environment through the presentation and discussion of film as an art form. Come on - who doesn't love that? The recently renovated the theater makes watching films there a wonderful movie experience. It's an absolute jewel with it's hot pink walls and seats where my #OOTD matched perfect (outfit deets are below).
I'll admit during this shoot things got a little corny or should I say instead..."Popcorny"? Hehe.
And don't worry, after the movie we cleaned up the mess!
Stylingwise tip: When spending money on more expensive trend worthy clothing, make sure you have other outfit options. Don't make it a one and done purchase! For instance this top goes with a multitude of things to include jeans, white/red/green/pink pants or skirt. For evening wear a long black silk skirt, sequined or not!
