Polka Dots 3 Ways

Recently, I took a quick trip to Los Angeles with a 24 hour turn around.  Just for fun, I decided to do a little clothing challenge by wearing this fabulous polka dot dress for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So cute - right?  It's cute and, guess what,  it's from Target!

My Breakfast look at Alfred Coffee in Beverly Hills.  It goes well with the Love Wall there.

My #OOTD  follows my Stylingwise rules of engagement - inexpensive, on-trend clothing, accessorized with some high-end shoes, bags, etc.  And, for only $32.99, this Who What Wear dress from Target fits the bill.  It's got a ruffle sleeve that makes it fun and trendy and a belted waist that is attached at the back.  I paired it with Converse tennis shoes and my new spring bag is this Staud Clothing bucket back in pink.  It is actually not too expensive compared to other "It" bags out there this season.

Next up...Lunch.

We ate at Polo Lounge in The Beverly Hills Hotel, so I felt obliged to step it up. Because why? Well...because it's THE Beverly Hills Hotel.  My white booties, 3x1 floral satin bomber and my Chloe Nile bag in Lemonade are perfect for an afternoon in Beverly Hills dining and/or shopping.

And, what about my other new "It" (to go) bag?  It holds some very precious cargo - my left over Fish Tacos.

And, finally Dinner!

We met up with my stepson who lives and works in Burbank.  I needed a more casual look for dinner at Smizzy's which serves delicious food and miro-brewed beers.  I paired it with a leather biker jacket, and some white creepers with socks to dress it down.

Mission accomplished!  Overall I spent for on food and drinks then I did on the dress.  I'll hang it up for now 'cuz, honestly, I'm kind of over it!

Stylingwise tip:  Satin bomber jackets are perfect with dresses.  Just make sure the dress has a fitted waist, is gathered or wraps at the waist where the band of the jacket will sit when zipped up.
