LIttle Bit Country, Little Bit Chic

I've got a few events coming up that call for casual dress, festive dress.  Often I hear words like that and it sends me into a panic. That was until I came across this yellow Milly slip dress.

Look at this dress - the details are amazing!  Made of a light crushed velvet fabric with a silk underlay fishtail and a cut out at the thigh (back and front), it could not be more darling.  Oh yeah, it's on sale too!!

To keep is casual, I've paired it with a cropped jean jacket and some ankle cowboy style ankle boots.

Add a fringe clutch or  crossbody bag and you are ready to party in a festive, casual style as deemed necessary by the party gods!!!

But, this dress doesn't not just stop at casual, festive department.  I will be styling it several different ways.  So stayed tuned for more and get your slip dress ready to party!!  I have located the exact dress, but if sold out, I'vefound other dresses you can wear to pull off similar looks.

Stylingwise tip:  Add a camisole with lace detail under a slip dress to add a little fun detail.  This will help in not exposing too much skin and extend a summer dress into fall.
