Fall Transitions

Is that Fall I'm sensing in the air?  Yes, I believe it is!  The light is lower in the sky, the days are shorter and temps are cooler.  With all this comes the worst part of seasonal transitions - what heck am I to wear?

It isn't as hard as it might seem.  Key is to bring in some warm-toned clothing and heavier weighted fabrics like this camel paper bag skirt. Ditch the shorts and move to khakis and jeans.

Tops require more coverage like this Ganni eyelet puff sleeve top (on repeat from spring).  A denim shirt would be perfect, too. For cooler than usual fall days, a fun sweatshirt or sweater combined with tennis shoes could be what the fashion doctor orders.

Looking for my UBER by the way.

A straw hat keeps you in the summer mood and sandals can be replaced for a full coverage white mule if you prefer.

Found said UBER.

Yeah! Fall, I am ready for you.  Now, head to your closet and find your summer to fall outfits because it will be here before you know it. Just keep winter as far a possible, please.

I have some similar looks below - just in case.  BTW, I love the Ganni brand.  It's from Sweden, reasonably priced and stylishly fun.  Included below is my eyelet top as a dress.  Recently, seen on a darling Parisian girl in Merci - the coolest concept store in Saint Germain des Pres.  Now I want one.

Stylinwise tip:  Paper bag skirts and pants are bulky at the waist so a form-fitting shirt works best.
