As with most all fashion bloggers, it's obvious we love fashion. But, what possesses a fashion lover to create a blog? For me it was January 2017, sitting at home on the 1st of January, I decided I wanted to do a blog for women of a "certain age". And thus, Stylingwise.com was born.
In French, they say "Une femme entre deux ages" or in English "a woman between two ages". I love this phrase! Who doesn't feel like they are still 25? Stylingwise.com is not just fashion for women over 40 and above because what I wear is about having fun with all trends with no age discrimination. Granted, there are fashion trends not everyone can wear - young or old but I'm here to show you how to wear many as une femme entre deux ages!
So, it is really about ageless chic here at stylingwise.com What is ageless chic? Well, consider this encounter I often have when out and about when someone walks up to you and says "I love your outfit!" and you turn to find someone considerably younger or older. That's when you know you have achieved #agelesschic style.
Styling-wise, my fashion philosophy embraces high/low dressing. I believe in spending money on several good fashion pieces - it's essential to building a good wardrobe. Your foundation should start with an on-trend bag and a pair of fabulous shoes. After that, it's building a wardrobe with basics and trendy inexpensive pieces. It's not hard to dress with style and on-trend!
